This is a project that we realized for a local competition that was organized by Vlora district council.The project was shortlisted in the 7 final projects. 

It is located in Pilur, a village in Himara, Albania.

The concept is based on the characteristics of the traditional iso-polyphony music of the region . There are five plates of bronze that represent five elements (sounds) of the music. When you stand in front of the memorial you can visualize a singer dressed in traditional outfit. It also creates a connection between the beauties of the area that have been an inspiration to the iso-polyphony music and the visitor. Through the silhouette of the singer you can see the Llogara mountains that reach 2000m or the beautiful sea of Himara in the other direction.

On the surface of the plates are engraved some of the most remarkable songs of the region.
